This hands-on training program is designed for organizations that want more than theory – we focus on practical enablement using your own data, real-life scenarios, and a proven methodology to ensure long-term adoption.
OBJECTIVE OF THE ENABLEMENT PROGRAM
The program enables developers to independently work with SAP Datasphere and Business Data Cloud through a mix of theory, hands-on training with real use cases, and continuous feedback. It begins with an initial setup of SAP Datasphere, including coordination across stakeholders, resource allocation, performance tuning, and a full configuration test with documentation.
After completing the program, participants will have:

SAP Datasphere Training
Our enablement program is built to give your team a strong foundation in SAP Datasphere. Through a combination of guided instruction and hands-on exercises, we help Developers, Power Users, and Administrators build the skills needed to work effectively with Datasphere in a real-world context.
WEEK 1 (2 DAYS)
THE FOUNDATION
We kick off the program with core concepts in SAP Datasphere. Participants set up their first space, configure connections, assign roles and permissions, and load both remote and local data. By the end of the week, your team will have a fully working technical setup and a clear understanding of the platform architecture.
WEEK 2 (2 DAYS)
MODELING
This week focuses on building data models. We explore dimensions, facts, hierarchies, and relationships using the Data Builder. You’ll create a master data flow and a transactional flow, providing hands-on experience with structuring real business data in Datasphere.
WEEK 3 (2 DAYS)
SECURITY & TRANSPORT
Security and lifecycle management are at the center this week. You’ll implement Data Access Controls (DAC), define user roles, and test access restrictions. We also introduce the transport landscape and show how to move models across Dev, QA, and Prod environments safely and efficiently.
WEEK 4 (2 DAYS)
CONSUMPTION & AUTOMATION
In this module, we look at how data is consumed by users and systems. You’ll build analytic models, publish them to SAP Analytics Cloud, and automate workflows with task chains. The week ends with enabling access via SQL and database users for broader integration.
WEEK 5 (2 DAYS)
GOVERNANCE & BEST PRACTICES
With the technical foundation in place, we shift focus to governance. Together we define development standards, naming conventions, and architecture principles. This ensures your Datasphere setup is scalable, maintainable, and aligned with your internal ways of working.
WEEK 6 (½ DAYS)
EVALUATION & NEXT STEPS
We wrap up the program by reviewing progress and capturing feedback. What worked, what needs refinement, and where to go next. You’ll receive a documented evaluation and a prioritized roadmap for future development, enablement, or project roll-out.
